How to use magick for relationships?

Magick can be used for relationships. There are many love spells out there that are both new and thousands of years old.

People always have a tendency to deal with the metaphysical when life becomes boring or depressing. Love and relationships are also an aspect of life that may bring great happiness as well as troubles.

There will be many more posts about how to execute magickal creation but now I'll try to give the basics and show you some examples.

Here is our scenario: You are in love with someone. You either don't know each other yet or you are being introduced and you are not sure whether he or she is interested in you or you feel shy about getting closer with him or her.

Let's try the most basic form of conscious creation. You don't always need spells for that, it is not really necessary. Magickal forces do not hear words from you. It is about what you think and what you imagine.

Visualization is very important in magick. Many rituals just exists to help you concentrate on your subject.

Let's use a candle for your concentration. Light up a tea-light candle. Some people may be more comfortable using certain colors for certain subjects. The most compatible color for love and relationships in magick is red. It represents fire, passion, love, and alike. Therefore, you may want to use a red candle. In my humble opinion, any candle would do because magick is in fact your intention.

Look at the flame of the candle and concentrate. Focus on some scenes with you being together. Try to dwell upon the end result. Don't concentrate on imagining how bad you want him or her. Just concentrate on the image of you two being together and having romantic moments.

Try to visualize details about having a date with him or her. Try to visualize every detail. The table, candles, flowers. Try to imagine that he sends you flowers or you send flowers to her and imagine how happy you are together.

Try not to concentrate on not having him or her by your side at the moment. Try to feel that you are already lovers and you are very happy together.

Concentrate on that imagery as long as you wish or as long as you can. Then leave the candle lighting. Take care of the environment so that the candle will not cause any damage.

Repeat this process for a certain period of time. If you feel that this should take days then repeat it for a couple of days.

The most important point here is your concentration and your good and excited feelings. Give it a try :)

What then is magick?

I have posted a definition on chaos magick and then not posted anything about what magick is. Magick is creation. It is so simple. Since it means creation, every form of creation can be considered as magick.

So, it is not the most true definition of magick if only wands, harry potter, pots come to your mind. It is also a magickal act when you just ask for something anyhow from anybody.

Therefore, what is told in the book the Secret also counts as magick.

Of course, there are different types of magickal work. There are rituals, there are a whole lot metaphysical aspects of magick.

Magick is also very much related with consciousness. It, in fact means, conscious creation. People do create many things through the day. We are mostly not aware about all we create. Magick is conscious creation. You create and you are aware of your creation, now that is called magick.

It is that simple.

The most famous form of magick is prayer

Prayer is a basic kind of magick. You pray, you cast spells. You tell somebody else about what you want and you imagine what you want while telling it. You can't help but do that.

It is important to know that imagination is a big part of magick. Whether you work with islamic magic (havass) or any kind of western magick, it always ends up with imagining what you want to happen.

During a prayer, you both try to put some entity (God or whatever fits for that purpose for you) in charge in the name of yourself and you imagine what you pray about.

This is the basic form of magick and billions of people are doing that every day. Whether they succeed or not is another issue. To know that prayer is a form of magic is necessary to get the hang of magick.

Energy and directing energy

When it comes to magick, we talk about energy. On one hand, the energy we are talking about is the same energy in physics but on the other hand there is more than that to it.

Practicing magick means directing certain energies in order to achieve change in the physical plane. You do that by a metaphysical process.

For instance, when you do sex magick, you try to direct the energy that comes from the sexual act. This occurs both on the physical and the metaphysical plane.

I know it is not easy to understand. I am still suspicious about what kind of an energy is directed in sex magic and how it is directed. I can't seem to get that completely.

But I can get this: When I try to create a headache in my head, I am usually successful on that. When you try to create a headache on any other person, most probably you will be successful on that too. The mechanism is not that important. You don't know how electricity works but you use it anyway.

So far, it is necessary and sufficient to know that magick plays with someone's internal energies and it also plays with many of the external energies.

Let's start with a definition

Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia has a good starting information on chaos magick:

Chaos magic is a form of magic which was first formulated in West Yorkshire, England, in the 1970s. Through a variety of techniques often reminiscent of Western ceremonial magic or neoshamanism, many practitioners believe they can change both their subjective experience and objective reality, though some chaos magicians dispute that magic occurs through paranormal means.

Although there are a few techniques unique to chaos magic (such as some forms of sigil magic), chaos magic is often highly individualistic and borrows liberally from other belief systems. In this way, some chaos magicians consider their practice to be a form of paradigm piracy. Some common sources of inspiration include such diverse areas as science fiction, scientific theories, ceremonial magic, shamanism, Eastern philosophy, world religions, and individual experimentation. Despite tremendous individual variation, chaos magicians often work with chaotic and humorous paradigms, such as the worship of Hundun from Taoism or Eris from Discordianism.

So, you can see that there are a variety of topics that can be considered as chaos magick. Therefore I am going to post here on many different kinds of magick as well as what I think about them.
Here will be links to a set of articles that I find useful for magickal practice, tarot readings, psychic readings and alike.
